GrownOcean is an app that helps users create, discover and share outdoors adventures using a series of parameters to find the best experience for everyone. The start-up wanted a visual experience that resemblance to travel notes, summer-camp gates and pathfinding arrows. In other words, an organic aesthetic, warmth and a bit nostalgic, but adequate for a digital landscape. Inspired by this concept, a full brand identity was developed, the brand, a custom typography and all the UI components were crafted as hand-drawn elements. With these pieces in place, the App immerses users into an authentic travel digital experience.
